Where are the best practices and procedures for developers documented? What if I don't like them? What if there's no best practice and I have a question about something?

There's an internal repository for tracking best-practices for developers: https://gitlab.blendinteractive.com/blend/best-practices
It's not complete, but it's a start. If you have a question that's not addressed and think it belongs there, or a problem with a suggestion or a recommendation for a new change or practice, fork the repo and propose a merge request. We'll get the discussion started in the merge review, and approve good, relevant ideas as a team.
