Ideally I wouldn't need to set up billing for a client's geocoding feature until we get closer to launch. Is there a way to use the geocode api for free during initial development?
Answer
As far as I can tell you cannot create a new project without a billing account. If you have an old project you can use that API key but you you have a daily quota of 1 API call. So unless I misunderstood the recent change you have no way to test the geocode API without a billing account.
